Gameplay is much the same as the NES version, with you taking control of Mario as you attempt to rescue Pauline, although for added retro authenticity, these characters are referred to as Jumpman and Lady respectively in the game’s electronic manual.
This, dear reader, is the intro to the Arcade Archives version of Donkey Kong 3. The point in all of this is that we get a chance to remember the mistakes of the past, no matter how painful they might be, in an effort to preserve the future.
